PE Welding

Hadlee and Brunton have qualified welders who carry out electrofusion, butt and extrusion PE welding.

Butt Welding

Our largest Butt Welder will weld pipe from 315mm diameter up to 600mm diameter. It is set up in a shipping container complete with gantry crane to enable all weather welding. This is delivered to site on our HIAB truck and powered using our truck mounted 80 KVA gen set which is housed in a noise suppressed body. For larger pipes we have access to a 1000mm butt welder.

Our smaller Butt Welder will weld pipe up to 90mm diameter to 315mm diameter. It is set up on a crane truck and can be lifted into position complete with a fully enclosed cover to enable welding in whatever weather.

Electrofusion Welding

We have two electrofusion welders which are capable of welding up to 1m in diameter.

Extrusion Welding

We also fabricate PE structures using our new PE Extrusion Welder which means we can fabricate structures such as manholes, specialist bends and junctions onsite.
